Stop the War! Stop the bloodshed and pain! Stop the Violence!

It is my duty as a citizen to voice my dissatisfaction and utter mistrust with the present administration. President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney will not suffer from the aftermath of this horrific Iraq war. Both of them have fat bank accounts and are all set for life. It is us commoners and little people who have to work hard for a living. Price of goods inside US are going up, several bases are closing, humanitarian services will be cut, school programs being slashed, art programs and medical research are already taking a big hit. What are we waiting for? We are trying to gain and regain control of Haifa Street in Iraq. Something is wrong with this picture. We are in this war for so many months and after spending billions of dollars, several thousands dead on either side, violence and hatred are taking on a whole new meaning. Why can’t there be diplomatic talks and why can't we bring our troops back home.

If we can send humans into space I am sure we can find a way to talk to each other. Don’t just disappear into the Gotham like cityscape or into this no man’s barren land. Even though the high rises are all shattered, abandoned and worn down do not be surprised when amidst all this shelling you hear a old person’s painful heartwrenching sigh or a small child walking out dirty, hungry and crying.
